You have recently received information from Admissions that you have been admitted or conditionally admitted to the International Master’s Programme in Environmental Social Science (IMPRESS). Note: since you register for the programme online, you will not be summoned to a roll call. 

Compulsory registration for admitted applicants 

In order to keep your place on the programme you must register in the following way:

  • Use your username and password from or to:
  • Activate your student account at . This can be done from August 8th.
  • You will now have access to the student administrative system Ladok at where you register for the first course: Environment, Lifestyles and Individuals (Miljö, livsmönster och individ). When you register for this course you will automatically get registered on the programme. 
  • The web registration is open from Thursday 8th of August until Monday the 26th of August. If you have not registered by the 26th of August (23:59 CET) you will lose your place on the course. We make no exceptions for anybody who has not registered on time.
  • If you have not yet received your civic registration number or have other problems with your registration, please contact us via before the last day of registration. If you have been conditionally admitted, please read the following.

Conditionally admitted

If you are conditionally admitted, you have to prove that you have the necessary prerequisites for the programme before we can register you (you will not be able to register online). You must do this before August 27. Send an email to containing proof that you fulfill the requirements (for example, a copy of your final transcript and degree certificate). Please note that it is not enough that you have the equivalent of 180 credits. You must have a degree certificate or a certificate stating that you have applied for the degree certificate in order to register for the programme.

Introduction meeting and first lecture

There will be a welcome meeting for the IMPRESS programme Wednesday September 4, 13.00-15.00, in room F4204.

Tuesday September 3, 12.00-13.00 you are also welcome to attend the general information meeting for new master’s students at the Department of Political Science, in lecture hall B4.
