Depending on what course or programme you choose the application procedures may vary. Applications are submitted electronically at universityadmissions.se (English) or antagning.se (Swedish). Antagning.se sometimes accepts applications even after the deadline - please check their website. Note: Students from countries outside the EU/EEA must pay application and tuition fees. More information about fees

Application deadlines autumn 2018:

January 15 -  First admission round (mainly for applicants outside the EU/EEA. Not all courses are open in this application round)
April 16  - Second admission round (mainly for applicants living in Sweden and EU/EEA)

Application deadlines spring 2019:

August 15 - First admission round (mainly for applicants outside the EU/EEA. Not all courses are open in this application round)
October 15 - Second admission round (mainly for applicants living in Sweden and EU/EEA)

Bachelor's Programmes

Bachelor´s programme in International Business and Politics

This program is aimed at those interested in an international career and who wants to deepen their knowledge about how companies and politics affect each other. The program covers a wide range of subject areas, with a focus on business administration as the main field of study. The program combines business administration with studies in political science, economic history and international relations.


Master's Programmes

International Master's Programme

The Department of Political Science offers an international two-year Master’s Programme in Political Science. Admission only once a year, for the autumn semester.

Eligibility requirements for Political Science II:
For students who have studied political science at Stockholm University: 22,5 out of 30 credits, Statsvetenskap I or Political Science I. For students who have not studied political science at Stockholm University: completion of Statsvetenskap I, 30 credits; or Political Science I, 30 credits; or Samhällskunskap I, 60 credits; or the equivalent.
