The courses provides a broad introduction to political science – an overview of central political concepts, ideas and ideologies; knowledge of important institutions and processes in Swedish politics and public administration; the political phenomena’s reciprocal connections and contexts through comparative studies of different political systems; fundamental knowledge of international politics. The student learns to independently collect and critically analyse information about politics, and to argue by means of oral and written assignments.
