 Women in Politics: consultancy in Sierra Leone
In December 2009 Drude Dahlerup in the project Women in Politics was invited to Freetown in Sierra Leone as a quota expert for a conference organised by the NGO Campaign for Good Governance (CGG) and funded by UNDP, among others. Drude Dahlerup presented different experiences of quota in politics. The President's wife and several government officials participated in the conference, as well as representatives for women's organisations from all over the country. Read more »

 International conference: The Dynamics of Citizenship in the Post-Political World
Citizenship is a dynamic and multidimensional concept that plays a central role in theoretical and empirical political science. This conference invites scholars to theoretically, empirically, and critically study the idea and reality of citizenship in the post-political world. It focuses on contemporary post-political challenges to citizenship thought, institutions, processes, and practices. The conference will take place on May 26-28, 2010, at Stockholm University.
