Transaccess

Expert survey

The Transaccess project collects data on the involvement of transnational actors, such as NGOs, business associations, and philantropic foundations, in international organizations. For this purpose, we conduct an online survey among transnational actors in the course of 2011 and 2012.

The survey aims to describe different forms of transnational actor involvement in international organizations, understand how transnational actors evaluate the environment in which they interact with other international actors, and assess how they perceive the consequences of this interaction.

The survey will help us to understand the nature and consequences of transnational actor involvement in international organizations. Although transnational actors' access to international institutions has increased dramatically over the past two decades, researchers know relatively little about their views on the nature and consequences of their own involvement.

Participants of the survey can be assured that any information received will be kept confidential and that no organization or individual will be identified at any stage within the research process.
