Research profiles

The Department of Political Science embraces a number of research areas of which the following are organised in so-called research profiles (information available only in Swedish for the present):

• Politics and development »

The profiles have their own specialistions within the master's programme in political science, a fact that provides unique opportunities, nationally, for the students to choose their master studies in accordance with their special interests, and to deepen their knowledge for a prospective reserach career.

Seminars

The main common activities of the profiles are constituted by working seminars which normally take place one or twice a month in order to discuss current research (see the link seminar series to the left).

In addition to these profiles, there is also internationally high-class research conducted within areas such as media and politics and history of ideas.
