One to two Ph.D. student positions oriented towards comparative studies of natural resource management

The PhD positions are funded by the research program GLEAN (Global Survey of Learning, Participation and Ecosystem Management), which is financed by the National Science Council and directed by Associate Professor Andreas Duit. The program is hosted by the Department of Political Science and carried out by a cross-disciplinary research team 2012-2016. The successful candidate is likely to have a demonstrated ability to conduct independent scientific investigations, a strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, as well as experience of working in a cross-disciplinary research environment.
